The Steering Committee of START is the highest-level decision-making body with the function of ensuring the success of the project.
The Committee is formally composed of the Scientific Leads and/or Project Managers from each partner and meets on a monthly basis. Occasionally, the meetings may be extended to include other researchers and/or Project Team managers.
The members of the Committee must provide leadership and transdisciplinary direction to the project, optimizing the expected benefits.
Furthermore, all members of the Management Committee are responsible for evaluating and monitoring the project's impact on all key stakeholders, taking on the strategic management of the project and the achievement of its objectives.
